Torrey Utne

Torrey Utne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and research. Currently serving as Design Team Lead at LafargeHolcim since June 2021, Torrey previously worked as a UX/UI Designer with the same company beginning in October 2018 and has engaged in freelance UX/UI design and strategy since January 2015. Prior experiences include roles such as Research Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital, where responsibilities involved research management in melanocyte biology, and Biotoxin Technician for the State of Maine, focusing on the collection and processing of biological samples. Torrey's background also includes observational roles with NOAA, both in the North Pacific and through Saltwater Inc., monitoring commercial fishing practices. Educational qualifications include a BS in Biology from the University of New Hampshire and ongoing studies at Harvard Extension School, along with completion of the StartUp Institute in 2018.
