Holistic business risk management springs from best practices, hands-on experience, science, and passion. What if risk management is not a compliance-dedicated function but an art of informed decision-making, critical thinking and vigilance? In Lithuanian, Rizikos menas (the name of legal entity behind Holistic Business Risk) means Art of Risk.

Brian Eno pointed out that art is efficient because it is safe. It stimulates our feelings and thoughts, but we do not have to endure the real-world consequences of it. Good risk management - like great art - is designed so we neither have to experience the worst-case scenario outcome nor fear taking opportunities because of uncertainty.

Time to unfake risk management, transforming it to a real business enabler. Switching from hierarchical reporting to collaboration across the business ecosystem. Acting here and now but thinking globally long-term.
