Tom Alexander

Tom Alexander is the CEO and Co-founder of Holistic, where they focus on diversity, inclusion, fairness, and equity. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at 1871. Tom also worked as the Deputy Communications Director in the Office of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and as a Senior Communications Officer at the University of Chicago. Tom has experience in policy and communications as the Policy and Communications Projects Director at the State of Illinois, Office of the Governor. Tom founded Serious Sports News Network and worked as a Sr. Disaster Analyst at SBA. Tom has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College Chicago and as a District Superintendent at enterpriz. Tom was the Publisher of Chicago Sports Review Magazine.

Tom Alexander completed their high school education at Rock Bridge High School from 1993 to 1996, earning a High School Diploma. Tom then pursued their undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of Chicago from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a BA degree. Tom furthered their education at Northwestern University, where they attended from 2008 to 2011 and earned a Master's degree in Public Policy Administration (MPPA).
