Tom has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College Chicago and as a District Superintendent at enterpriz. Tom was the Publisher of Chicago Sports Review Magazine.

Tom Alexander completed their high school education at Rock Bridge High School from 1993 to 1996, earning a High School Diploma. Tom then pursued their undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of Chicago from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a BA degree. Tom furthered their education at Northwestern University, where they attended from 2008 to 2011 and earned a Master's degree in Public Policy Administration (MPPA).
