Holland Engineers (formerly Jacobi Geotechnical Engineering) is a geotechnical engineering firm established in 1999 and licensed to practice professional engineering in Missouri and Illinois.  In 2025, the firm rebranded as Holland Engineers, continuing its long-standing tradition of delivering reliable, responsive, and technically sound geotechnical services.

Holland Engineers specializes in a full range of geotechnical engineering services, including subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, engineering analysis, construction observation and documentation, and construction materials testing.  With offices located in O’Fallon, Missouri, and Belleville, Illinois, our team brings decades of regional experience and technical expertise to every project; delivering reliable and professional engineering solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Holland Engineers is committed to engineering practical, cost-effective solutions for geotechnical and 
geo-construction challenges.  We partner with clients to deliver responsive service, technical expertise, and effective project delivery.  Our approach prioritizes collaboration and professional guidance, supporting project success from initial investigation through construction.

We primarily serve the St. Louis Metropolitan and Metro East areas, with a focus on commercial and residential development, industrial facilities, transportation infrastructure, and municipal projects.  The majority of our work comes from long-standing relationships with repeat clients - a reflection of the trust and performance we bring to each project.

Our staff of approximately 20 professionals includes licensed engineers, geologists, engineering interns, project managers, drill operators, field representatives, laboratory technicians, and administrative personnel.  This diverse and experienced team allows us to deliver comprehensive geotechnical services tailored to meet project-specific requirements.
