Holland and Hamrick Architects have been providing complete design services for clients in Cleveland and Rutherford Counties and the surrounding region for 80 years. Since its inception, the firm has undertaken a wide range of projects, large and small. We have completed over 2,000 major projects in that timeframe.

In such a competitive industry, the firm has always understood that design talent alone will not lead to success, or more importantly, satisfied clients. To that end, our philosophy is a straightforward one: to steadily be there for our clients throughout the project, from to planning to design to construction and closeout. We pride ourselves on listening to AND understanding the needs of our clients and earning their trust through our work product, where attention to detail is a guiding principle.

Through the firm’s principals, more than 70 years of progressive and responsive architectural expertise is available to meet your project needs. The remainder of our team brings a wealth of ancillary capabilities to the firm.

Our strategy begins with an initial review with the client as to the scope of needs for the project and then to move to planning documentation for client/user input. Through this collaborative team approach, the result is a well prepared set of construction documents that will ensure a smooth transition from design to construction phase, all the while maintaining careful control of construction costs as the project proceeds.

Our capabilities range from high tech and institutional design to corporate and business space to the not so glamorous but highly utilized utilitarian space needs. Our motto is: “We work for our clients, not our egos.”
