Mark Pritchard

Mark Pritchard is an experienced IP Specialist at Holmes Solutions since June 2018, with a robust background in intellectual property. Prior roles include serving as Manager of Patents & Designs and Assistant Commissioner of Patents at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) from January 2015 to May 2020, along with previous positions as Senior Advisor in Patent Practice. Mark's experience spans various roles at IPONZ, including acting manager positions and principal examiner duties. Early career roles involved technical assistance and patent examination at firms such as Cruikshank & Fairweather, Murgitroyd, and The Patent Office. Mark holds a Diploma in Management (Advanced) from the New Zealand Institute of Management and is a registered Patent Attorney in both Australia and New Zealand. Academic qualifications include degrees from the University of Glasgow and the University of Paisley.
