Davin Sgargetta

Davin Sgargetta is a seasoned professional in media and communications, currently serving as a Lecturer at Holmesglen since March 2020, specializing in Digital Media Production and Sports Broadcasting. As the Founder of Hook Media, a Melbourne-based digital media production agency established in July 2013, Davin focuses on content creation and community building across digital platforms. From January 2019, Davin has also been the Series Director and Producer of the popular sports and lifestyle show GolfBarons, broadcast on major networks in Australia and globally. Prior experience includes roles as a Producer, Writer, and Director for various film and television projects, as well as serving as the Media and Communications Manager for Basketball Australia, where Davin handled media activities for national teams. With a strong foundation in journalism from freelance work with publications such as The Age, Davin is equipped with a Masters Degree in Communication and extensive experience in the media landscape.
