David Atkinson

Co-Founder at Holo

David Atkinson is a co-founder of Holochain, a company that provides a data structure for building apps with their own chains that can merge, split, and interact. David is also a co-founder of Holo.Host, which offers distributed hosting for holochain apps. In addition, they are a co-creator of Rain Protocol and co-founder of Gild Labs, where they focus on creating tools and solutions for onchain tokenization of offchain assets. David is also involved in other ventures such as nom and Men In Therapy. David has served as a non-executive director at Up Learn and as an advisor at Terra Virtua and Woodstock Fund.

David Atkinson completed their education at the University of Melbourne in Australia. From 1999 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, focusing on Environmental Economics and Finance. During the same time period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Information Systems degree. In 2000, David achieved a Diploma of Arts in History from the University of Melbourne.
