Joan LaRovere

Board Member

Joan LaRovere, MD, MSc, MBA, serves as the Senior Vice President and interim Chief Medical Officer at Boston Children's Hospital, where leadership encompasses clinical care and staff management for a specialized 31-bed pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. With significant roles in innovation and outcomes, LaRovere also contributes to several organizations as a board member, including Holobiome and LifeMD, and as a Healthcare Operating Partner at iSelect Fund. Additionally, LaRovere is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and actively mentors students at MIT Sloan School of Management and the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. LaRovere co-founded and presides over the Virtue Foundation, focusing on healthcare and education initiatives for underserved populations.
