Junchi Liu

Junchi Liu, Ph.D., is a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Hologic, Inc. since June 2022, where responsibilities include developing machine learning algorithms for medical imaging, conducting image processing analyses, and researching advanced deep learning technologies. Previously, Junchi Liu completed a Ph.D. at the Illinois Institute of Technology from August 2019 to May 2022, focusing on machine learning, deep learning, and medical image processing. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Researcher and Deep Learning Researcher at Hologic, Inc. and Rush University Medical Center, respectively, where research concentrated on AI algorithms for cancer detection and motion artifact removal in imaging. Junchi Liu also holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, earned between 2013 and 2015.
