Matthew Roy

Matthew Roy has extensive experience in the medical imaging field, currently serving as Director of Imaging Field Service at Hologic, Inc. since October 2007, following roles as District Service Manager and Field Engineer. In this position, Matthew specializes in the service and installation of Mammography, Biopsy, and Bone Density systems at various hospitals and women's centers throughout Maine, contributing to Hologic's status as a leading provider of women's health medical equipment. Prior to Hologic, Matthew worked as a Clinical Engineer at Maine General Medical Center from June 2003 to October 2007, where responsibilities included servicing all modalities in the Imaging Department and collaborating with vendors to maintain equipment functionality. Earlier experience includes a role as Service Technician at Mid-State Machine Company from September 1993 to May 2003, focusing on the service and repair of CNC equipment, including both mechanical and electro-mechanical repairs. Matthew attended the University of Maine at Machias from 1992 to 1994.
