Nancy G. Brinker is the founder of Susan G. Komen and has served in various leadership roles within the organization since 1982, including Chair of Global Strategy and Chief Executive Officer. In addition to her work at Susan G. Komen, Brinker is the founder of the Promise Fund and currently serves as Chair of Concordia's Cancer Collaborative. Nancy previously held the position of U.S. Ambassador to Hungary from 2001 to 2003 and has been recognized for significant contributions to health advocacy globally. Brinker is also a Lifetime Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Goodwill Ambassador for Cancer Control with the World Health Organization. Nancy is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds honorary doctorates in Journalism from Southern Methodist University and Boston University.
