Phil Close

Phil Close has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Phil started their career in 2011 as a Fire Engineer at Tenos, where they worked until 2013. Following this, they joined Arup as a Senior Fire Engineer, specializing in fire safety design and strategic problem-solving for various projects, including the AstraZeneca Discovery Centre in Cambridge. Phil worked at Arup from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, Phil joined HOLOPLOT, initially as a Senior Project Manager and later transitioning to the role of Head of Customer Success in June 2021.

Phil Close earned their MEng (Hons) degree in Structural and Fire Safety Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, where they attended from 2006 to 2011. Phil also holds the Chartered Engineer certification from the Engineering Council.
