Marla Castro

Marla Castro's work experience includes being the Head of Guest Experience and Director of Operations at HOLT since February 2020. In this role, they are responsible for communication with guests, coordinating maintenance and cleaning teams, and overseeing guest experience agents. Prior to this, they worked as a Spanish Tutor at Preply and italki from October 2018 to June 2019, where they provided online Spanish lessons and created personalized materials and study plans for students. Marla also has experience as an English Teacher at Secretaría de Educación Pública from August 2014 to December 2017, as a Room Teacher at Instituto Franco Mexicano, A.C. from August 2013 to July 2017, as a Room Teacher at INSTITUTO EDINBURGH from August 2010 to July 2013, and as an English Teacher at Tecmilenio Monterrey from July 2011 to February 2013.

Marla Castro earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León between 2006 and 2011. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, starting in 2020.
