Matthew Block

Matthew Block is an experienced Program Manager at Holtec International since August 2013, specializing in the management and execution of turnkey implementation and system upgrades for dry cask storage systems, with oversight of projects exceeding $500 million in contract value. Matthew's previous roles include Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed full ownership of project budgets, schedules, procurement, and engineering oversight, and Project Manager, managing large-scale projects for the HI-STORM series at various domestic and international nuclear power plants. Additionally, Matthew served as the Northeast Regional Lead for North American Young Generation in Nuclear, Inc. from April 2019 to April 2023. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering, both from Penn State University.
