Tuomas Toivonen

Tuomas Toivonen is a Finnish entrepreneur and the Co-Founder & CEO at Holvi, a web-based service for groups of people to manage their money. Prior to starting Holvi, Toivonen co-founded Scred, a web-based service for managing money, where they were responsible for general business management as well as parts of the technology platform concerning databases, accounting engine and payment services integrations. Before Scred, Toivonen was a consultant at Nixu Middle East FZ LLC, working on consulting for the Internet Service Provider (ISP) operations of the Syrian Telecommunications Establishment (STE). In this role, they were responsible for supporting all aspects of ISP operations including but not limited to setting up a NOC, definition and deployment of service packages to residential and business customers, and infrastructure (predominantly Cisco and Sun) maintenance and development.

Tuomas Toivonen received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Latin American Studies from the University of Helsinki. Tuomas then went on to earn their Master of Science in the same field from the University of Helsinki. Before attending university, Tuomas Toivonen completed high school at Kauniaisten Lukio.
