Michael Pacini

Director of Wholesale at Homage

Michael Pacini has a long history of work experience in the field of basketball. Michael began their career in 2008 with an internship at Winning Ways Basketball, Inc. Following this, they worked as an intern at The National Basketball Academy from 2011-2011, where they created weekly newsletters, sold concessions and updated scores, schedules and standings, as well as instructed skill development for boys and girls during league play and summer camps. From 2011-2013, they served as the Director of Basketball Technology at the University of San Francisco, where they managed every aspect of the team's digital video needs and used Sportstec and Synergy to code and state practice, create opponent scouting reports, coordinate film exchange, manage the video archives and supply the coaching staff with game film. In 2014, they held two positions: SportVU Basketball Analytic Software Manager at the Golden State Warriors and Internship - NBA Entertainment at the National Basketball Association (NBA). At the NBA, they helped create and present a "Think Tank" project which included a 27-page report titled “NBA International E-Commerce Landscape”, worked closely with the Basketball Operations department on a number of projects related to NBA Draft Lottery and NBA Playoff reform, and assisted in the research and development of reports and decks that were to be presented by senior management. From 2011-2019, they held two roles at Rock 'Em Socks: Director, Venue Business Development & Sales and Wholesale Sales Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the account acquisition and blueprint development of NBA, NHL, MLS and NCAA licensed sock lines intended for team retail, in-venue, web-stores, marketing and giveaways, and oversaw the yearly strategic planning of sales, line sheets, localized art direction, design management, hot market calendar, brand identity standards, marketing and merchandising for NBA, NHL, MLS & NCAA licensed socks lines. Most recently, they have been the Director of Wholesale at HOMAGE since 2019.

Michael Pacini attended the University of San Francisco from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a degree in Sport Business Management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Central Florida from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Coaching, and a minor in Sport Business Management. Michael'sfield of study was Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
