Ashraf E. has 18 years of experience in system engineering, project management, team leading, technical planning and data management. From 2016 to present, they have worked as the Vice President of IT and Risk Management at Home City Inc., where they implemented Amazon AMXL transportation system on Amazon AWS cloud space, managed a successful implementation of a new WMS system, RF-SMART and negotiated yearly contracts resulting in savings, increasing profitability and scalability. Ashraf also managed a successful migration from one shipping platform to a more robust and stable platform, PaceJet, resulting in faster shipping rate resulting in increasing stability and profitability and payroll savings. Additionally, they converted stand-alone servers into a virtual environment using VMware 7.0.2. From 2016-2014, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at Cornerstone IT, where they designed and implemented O365, SharePoint and Skype for business for various law firms, as well as designed and implemented Citrix XepApp 7.6 farm for 2000 users, and managed all virtual environments using VMWare ESX 5.1 and 5. From 2014-2006, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at GFI Group, where they were the lead engineer accountable for the companies Windows 20003/2008/20012 AD Servers and Exchange 2003/2007/2013 servers and office 365. Ashraf was also accountable for design, implementing and administering exchange 2007/2010/2013 servers in a complex environment providing high availability using CCR for exchange 2007, DAG for exchange 2010 and dynamic clustering for exchange 2013. Additionally, they designed and implemented all virtualization solutions using VMWare 5.1 and 5. From 2006-2001, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at A+E Networks, where they were responsible for the technical design and implementation of a companywide email system upgrade for more than 2500 mailboxes from Exchange 2010 to Office 365. Ashraf also implemented Sharepoint online and Lync online, and was responsible for the datacenter move from Google Internap to Internap in NJ, including disaster recover testing and business continuity. Finally, from 2001-1997, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at SOVEREIGN BANK, where they provided design and support for internal network infrastructure in mixed Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Active Directory and Exchange 2000 environment for over 2,000 users. Ashraf also managed deployment of Windows 2003 server upgrade for about 325 servers using various hardware from HP, IBM and Dell servers. Additionally, they designed and implemented Exchange 2000 upgrade from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003, including team assembly, documentation and help desk and client training. Lastly, from 1997-present, they worked as an IT Supervisor at MERRILL LYNCH, where they managed a group of ten systems administrators supporting 1,200 clients across multiple locations, and provided day-to-day maintenance and support for one of the largest Wall Street trading floors, including Equity and NASDAQ trading support on NT 4.0 Win2000, MS Exchange, SNA 4.

Ashraf E. began their educational career at Alexandria University, where they attended the School of Science from 1990 to 1991, studying Science and Math. Ashraf then transferred to Hunter College, where they earned a B.A. in Computer Science from 1991 to 1993.
