Ashraf E. has 18 years of experience in system engineering, project management, team leading, technical planning and data management. From 2016 to present, they have worked as the Vice President of IT and Risk Management at Home City Inc., where they implemented Amazon AMXL transportation system on Amazon AWS cloud space, managed a successful implementation of a new WMS system, RF-SMART and negotiated yearly contracts resulting in savings, increasing profitability and scalability. Ashraf also managed a successful migration from one shipping platform to a more robust and stable platform, PaceJet, resulting in faster shipping rate resulting in increasing stability and profitability and payroll savings. Additionally, they converted stand-alone servers into a virtual environment using VMware 7.0.2. From 2016-2014, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at Cornerstone IT, where they designed and implemented O365, SharePoint and Skype for business for various law firms, as well as designed and implemented Citrix XepApp 7.6 farm for 2000 users, and managed all virtual environments using VMWare ESX 5.1 and 5. Lastly, from 1997-present, they worked as an IT Supervisor at MERRILL LYNCH, where they managed a group of ten systems administrators supporting 1,200 clients across multiple locations, and provided day-to-day maintenance and support for one of the largest Wall Street trading floors, including Equity and NASDAQ trading support on NT 4.0 Win2000, MS Exchange, SNA 4.

Ashraf E. began their educational career at Alexandria University, where they attended the School of Science from 1990 to 1991, studying Science and Math. Ashraf then transferred to Hunter College, where they earned a B.A. in Computer Science from 1991 to 1993.
