Created by a Family to Make the Difference; Home From Home Care is the largest parent-led provider of specialist residential services for adults (18+) with learning disabilities and complex needs, including Autism, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, Sensory Impairment and additional associated health and mental health issues.

Our approach comes from having been set up by parents - their daughter was about to leave college and they were unable to find somewhere suitable for her complex needs which could also offer her a fulfilled life. She now lives in one of the homes they created whereby she is supported to lead an active and fulfilled life of her choice through layered activities based on her personal goals and motivations. This continues to shape  the company’s entire philosophy and ethos - as parents they have high expectations of the service and always strive for better on a daily basis, as what works today in care will not necessarily work tomorrow. The result - high quality support around individuals with complex needs that puts them at the heart of what we do. We offer parents and carers a true alternative when it comes to choosing services for their adult children. 

Combining the family perspective with experienced professionals from social care, a dynamic service has evolved that strives to offer individuals with a learning disability better outcomes and wider horizons through active days and fulfilled lives.. 

We have created exceptional environments called Micro Communities, based across Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. We welcome placements from all over the country, with currently 38 Local Authorities funding with us due to a lack of specialist services in their own area to support complex needs.

We are uncompromising in the way in which we design and equip each home and, along with our dedicated staff team, recognise that creating positive lifestyles and fulfilled lives is paramount.
