Ryan Garrett

Ryan Garrett has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, they worked at BlackRock as a Non-taxable Funds Desk Co-Op. In 2005, they served as an Institutional Equity Sales Co-Op at Susquehanna International Group. In 2006, Ryan was a Strategic Planning Analyst at Giant Eagle, where they analyzed financial and operational data to recommend strategies. Ryan then interned as a Business Analyst at Alcoa in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, Ryan worked at Freddie Mac in roles such as Business Operations Associate, Financial Operations Analyst, and Senior Business Decision Analyst. At Freddie Mac, they led teams, implemented change management software, and automated operational and financial reconciliations. From 2011 to 2014, Ryan gained experience at Primatics Financial as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they led international teams and managed reporting solutions. At Charles Schwab, they served as a Senior Manager - Business Consulting Services from 2014 to 2015, leading projects and developing benchmarking studies. From 2015 to 2022, Ryan worked at Black Knight Financial Services Data & Analytics as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for product management. Currently, Ryan is employed at Homebot as a Senior Technical Product Manager, focusing on data-driven decision-making and managing data infrastructure. Starting in 2023, they will assume the role of Director of Product Development, Data Applications at Homebot, driving the product strategy and developing customer-facing applications.

Ryan Garrett attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Finance with a focus on Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Ryan obtained several certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in September 2014, Certified Decision Model Trainer and Certified Decision Model Practitioner from Knowledge Partners International in October 2010 and June 2010 respectively, and Certified Project Management Associate from the Project Management Institute in March 2010.
