Michael Weidner

Michael Weidner has a robust background in finance and accounting, with significant experience in audit and managerial roles. From June 2009 to December 2011, Michael served as a Senior Audit Associate at Crowe Horwath LLP, leading audit engagements across various industries, including real estate investment trusts and bio-tech. Progressing within the company, Michael took on the role of Manager in the Assurance and Financial Advisory Group, overseeing audit teams and engagements. Prior to current responsibilities as US Head of Finance at HMC Capital since June 2025, Michael held multiple finance-related positions at Macquarie Group from May 2022 to June 2025, including Associate Director and Vice President, where strategic accounting and oversight of post-acquisition investments were key duties. Michael began the professional journey as a Staff Accountant at Hays & Company LLP from September 2006 to May 2009, where foundational skills in audit and tax were developed prior to the firm's acquisition by Crowe Horwath LLP. Michael earned a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland in 2006.
