Gary Smith

Gary Smith has over twenty years of experience in the software industry. Gary began their career in 1998 as a Support Technician and Support Manager at AccuMed - A PointClickCare Company. In 2012, they became a QA Analyst at Omnicare Inc., where they developed Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases, conducted functional tests, documented and analyzed test results, and reported defects found during testing. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Triplefin and Thriveplan: The Innovation Lab, where they led the team as a Scrum Master/Project Manager, created and entered User Stories into JIRA, and led team meetings with stakeholders to determine priority. In 2018, they became a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst at CareSource, where they coordinated the test effort for sprint commitments, produced and distributed the daily SQA testing status to the stakeholders, and reviewed and vetted user stories and their acceptance criteria. In 2019, they joined The Christ Hospital Health Network as a Scrum Master, advising the TCH team on how to best implement the Agile process, working with the team to remove blockers and impediments, and advising the product owner on requirements gathering and user story creation. Currently, they work as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at HOMEE, Inc.

Gary Smith attended UC Clermont College from 1994 to 1997, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science.
