Gabriel Cornesse has worked in the tech industry since 2008. In 2008, they worked at Ela Medical as a Moderniser la plateforme Holter, where they were responsible for porting a file management system and writing to an embedded SD card. Gabriel then worked at Sorin Group as a Stagiaire logiciel in 2009. In 2010, they worked at NDS France as a Validation système, where they were responsible for developing multiple robustness tests and validating software patches. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at LivaNova as an Ingénieur d’études, where they were responsible for developing software such as SyneScope, EventScope, HookUp 2, and HookUp RS. Since 2018, they have worked at MicroPort CRM as an Ingénieur d’études, where they are responsible for developing software such as SpiderView, SpiderFlash, SpiderSAS, and PhysioHub. Gabriel is currently employed at Homerez as a Lead développeur senior and at Carmat as a Pilote Projets Techniques Electroniques.

Gabriel Cornesse completed their undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering at Concordia University in 2008. Gabriel then went on to pursue an engineering degree at ECE. Ecole d'ingénieurs. Engineering School, which they completed in 2011, specializing in Electronique - Système embarqué. In December 2022, they obtained a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google.
