We are a specialty coffee shop. Espresso drinks, homemade pastries, sandwiches, and live music every Friday and Saturday night. Our mission is simple: serve exceptional coffee with unusual kindness, foster true community, and practice compassion toward those less fortunate.

We are also something more.

Homer's operates under Homers 2:42, Inc., a not-for-profit organized as a church. The name comes from Acts 2:42, where the early church met simply, in homes, sharing meals and life together. We believe a coffee house makes a natural third place. Not work, not home. A spot where people show up, share their stories, and belong. Community happens over coffee. So does church.

THE FRUIT SO FAR
• More than 50 churches planted out of Homer's, not all of them in homes
• A house church meets on site
• Public worship 14 times a year on first Sundays, Christmas Eve, and Easter, because those are the days people want to try church
• 25 years of live music, local art, and community in Downtown OP

WHAT TO EXPECT
Come for the coffee. Our menu covers espresso classics, featured seasonal drinks, fresh pastries, and lunch. Stay for the room. Regulars study here, meet here, work here, and catch live bands on the weekend. Book a party, order catering, or hang your art on our walls.

No sales pitch. No pressure. Faith shows up here through kindness, not a clipboard at the door.

Find us in Downtown Overland Park. Order something warm. Pull up a chair. You belong here.
