John Mood

John Mood is the Owner of HOMEstretch in Columbia, South Carolina, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, John served as the Vice President of National Accounts at McEntire Produce Inc from June 2001 to October 2023. Under John's leadership, McEntire Produce became recognized as the largest family-owned fresh produce processor in the Southeast, offering fresh and sustainably processed produce to food service customers from its state-of-the-art facility in Columbia. John Mood holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of South Carolina, completed in May 1997, and previously attended the University of Mississippi from August 1993 to May 1994.
