Ruby R. has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Ruby began their career as a Regional Franchise Distributor Coordinator at Kraft Foods (Philippines) in 1999, followed by a Channel Sales Administrator at Meridian Systems in 2002. In 2005, they became a Customer Service Manager at Apex Solutions Group, LLC, and then transitioned to a Sales Support Specialist at Hill-PCI Group in 2006. In 2013, Ruby began working as a B2B Digital Growth Architect Using Social Media at Social Success Marketing, and in 2015 they took on the role of Social Media Marketing Consultant at HomeZada. In 2020, they became Co-Chair of the #USAMfgHour Twitter Chat, and they have also been Co-Owner of Photography by Ruby since 2001.

Ruby R. has an extensive educational background. In 2020, they obtained a Social Media certification from the Social Media Manager School. In 2012, they completed an Intensive Professional Development Program at the University of San Francisco, which included certificates in Advanced Social Media Marketing and Advanced Search Engine Marketing. In 2004, they attended Folsom Lake College to study Website Development. Prior to that, they attended Father Urios University for High School and Lyceum of the Philippines for a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
