Joe Ray

Joe Ray is a seasoned procurement and law enforcement professional with extensive experience. Currently serving as a Senior Procurement Specialist at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. since April 2021, Joe previously held the position of Cost Planning Commodity Leader at Honda Power Equipment Mfg., Inc. from March 2018 to April 2021. Prior to transitioning to the private sector, Joe dedicated nearly a decade to the Mebane Police Department, where roles included Support Services Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, Investigator, and Police Officer. Noteworthy contributions include supervising the Animal Control Division, directing the Citizens Police Academy, and managing various operational responsibilities within the department. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from East Carolina University and a Certificate from the Law Enforcement Executive Program at North Carolina State University.
