O'Neal Saunders

O'Neal Saunders is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in transactional law and corporate governance. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. since April 2007, Saunders focuses on commercial transactions, employee benefits, ERISA, and corporate compliance. Previously, Saunders held the position of Chief of the Business Counsel Section at the Ohio Attorney General from January 2003 to March 2007, overseeing transactional legal matters. Additionally, Saunders worked as Assistant Chief Legal Counsel/Fiduciary Counsel at the Ohio Auditor of State from February 1995 to January 2003. O'Neal Saunders earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and holds both an MBA and a BSBA in Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
