Simon Plosker

Simon Plosker is an experienced media and editorial professional specializing in advocacy related to Israel and the Middle East. Currently serving as Editorial Director at HonestReporting since October 2022, Simon previously held the role of Managing Editor at UN Watch from October 2020 to October 2022, where responsibilities included writing advocacy materials and overseeing the organization's online presence. With over a decade of experience at HonestReporting as Managing Editor, Simon focused on monitoring anti-Israel media bias and analysis of coverage across English-language mainstream outlets. Prior roles include Managing Editor at NGO Monitor, work in the Israel Defense Forces' Spokesperson's Unit, and positions in media relations with the Board of Deputies of British Jews and BICOM. Simon holds a Master’s degree in the History of International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Social Science in International Studies with Political Science from the University of Birmingham.
