Udie Chima has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Udie started in 2010 as the Founder and President of Chima Designs, where they designed and sold Apple accessories and managed a small sales team. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the Product Operations Lead at Flywheel Software, where they managed a dispatch software platform and conducted user research to improve the product. In 2016, they interned as a UX Designer at Airlift, where they designed and tested a music creation and social networking app. Udie then moved on to become the Founding Designer at Treez Inc., an enterprise software company, where they helped drive growth and added e-commerce and inventory management tools to the platform. In 2017, they joined Trellis as a Product Designer, where they designed a project manager module and managed a junior designer. Udie then worked as an Experience Designer III at Honeywell from 2018 to 2019, where they developed warehouse management software and contributed to the company's design system. In 2019, they joined Zillow as a Product Designer, and later became a Senior Product Designer, specializing in design systems. In 2022, they became an On Deck Fellow and also worked as a UX Instructor at the School of Visual Concepts. Currently, Udie Chima works as a Senior Product Designer at Honeycomb.io, where they utilize their extensive experience to contribute to the design of products.

Udie Chima began their education in 2004 at Oberlin College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Cultural Anthropology. Udie attended Oberlin College until 2008. In 2007, they briefly studied at SIT Fiji, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.

In 2015, Udie Chima enrolled in General Assembly to study UX Design, and there is no specified end year for this program.
