Cong Wang

Cong Wang is a self-motivated research scientist specializing in heterogeneous catalysis, with 7 years of experience in biomass valorization, plastic upcycling, and intensified microwave hydrogen production. They currently serve as a Sr. Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist at Honeywell, developing new catalyst and process technologies for petrochemical production. Previously, Cong completed a postdoctoral research position at the University of Delaware and held roles in various companies, including PetroChina, China Asset Management Co., Ltd., and Deutsche Bank. They earned a PhD in Catalysis from the University of Pennsylvania, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and economics from prestigious institutions.
