Chief Operating Officer (COO) at HONK

Matt Bijur began their career in 2004 as President of CoSport, a subsidiary of Jet Set Sports and leading provider of Olympics logistics management and hospitality to corporations and high net worth individuals. During their time there, they developed and released new hospitality packages for the Turin Olympic Games, increasing package sales by 75% over the equivalent period for the Athens Olympic Games.

In 2006, Matt Bijur joined KickApps Corporation, a social media start-up backed by Spark Capital, Softbank & Prism Ventures, as Vice President of Business Development.

In 2012, Matt Bijur co-founded Squabbler, a video engagement platform that enables major web publishers to embed functionality similar to Vine & Instagram video into their web and mobile properties. Matt was accepted into a class of six companies (out of 100 applications) by the Amplify Accelerator in Venice, CA in June 2012.

In 2014, Matt Bijur joined HONK Technologies as Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, they successfully scaled HONK's operations to support growth from zero to over $100M in revenue annually through strategic planning and business direction. Matt provided oversight for end-to-end operations, including delivery of all services on a daily basis, and managed a wide range of operations, including product, finance, and human resources, while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. As part of HONK's founding team, they also built the operational infrastructure of the HONK product from the ground up and hired the initial team, while managing day-to-day growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Matt Bijur obtained their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Architecture and Economics from Middlebury College. Matt also attended the American School in London for high school.
