Ralph Santos

Ralph S. has an extensive work experience in the field of user experience design. Ralph began their career as a User Experience Design Intern at IBM in 2015. In 2016, they were a User Experience Designer for a Capstone Project at Cognitive Class. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Human Factors Specialist at CHEO -- Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, where they were responsible for creating and managing the design strategy for the implementation of EPIC EHR in the Peri-Operative, Medical Imaging and Intensive Care units. During this time, they also led the planning, development and implementation of the design strategy to optimize clinical work environments and clinician workflows to support safe and efficient patient care. In 2019, they worked as a UX Designer at The Travel Corporation and as a UX Consultant at Sparked Digital Inc., offering design and strategy consultation, delivering high fidelity wireframes and prototypes, and conducting Heuristic analysis for various clients. Currently, Ralph S. is a Senior Product Designer at Honorlock and a Sr. UX Researcher at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where they are responsible for architecting user journeys and UX solutions.

Ralph S. graduated from the University of Toronto in 2017 with a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Industrial Engineering. Ralph then obtained certifications from the Pragmatic Institute in August 2022 for PMC Level I and PMC Level II. Additionally, they obtained a certification from LinkedIn in June 2017 for Project Management: Healthcare Projects.
