Mark Chee

Mark Chee is an Assistant Professor at Hood College since August 2024, specializing in microbiology with a focus on public health and infectious diseases from a population perspective. Previously, Mark served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Southern and Martin Methodist College, where teaching encompassed microbiology, epidemiology, and related subjects. Mark has a solid research background from Duke University, working as a Research Associate and conducting significant studies on Drosophila species and genetic factors. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Biology and a Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology and Clinical Research from Stanford University, along with multiple degrees from Duke University in Biology and Chemistry.
