Ben Chen

Ben Chen has extensive experience in securities lending and collateral management, currently serving as Team Leader at HOOPP since September 2014, following progressive roles as Sr Analyst and Analyst in the same domain. Prior to this, Ben worked at CIBC Mellon from August 2011 to September 2014, initially as a Collateral Administrator, then advancing to Senior Collateral Specialist, where responsibilities included processing international loans and negotiating collateral in accordance with company policies. Ben began the career at various customer service and administrative roles, including positions at CIBC, Trinity Dental Centre, and PMA Brethour Real Estate Corp. Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
