Daniel Oettl

Daniel Oettl is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy development, market research, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as Associate Director at HOOPP since October 2018, Daniel has held various roles including Senior Manager for Pension & Market Research and Senior Advisor to the Senior Vice President. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Seniors Affairs, where facilitation of policy collaboration and stakeholder management were key responsibilities. Previously, as a Senior Consultant at The Gandalf Group, Daniel managed a corporate reputation campaign for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation and conducted public opinion research that influenced pension reform discussions. Daniel holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from McGill University.
