Devan Gander

Devan Gander is the Director of Government Relations at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), a position held since 2024, following a progressive career within the organization. Prior to this role, Devan served as Senior Manager, Associate Director, and Manager in Government Relations at HOOPP. Devan also gained experience as a Public Sector Intern at MNP LLP and as a Development Officer and Manager in various capacities at the C.D. Howe Institute. They began their professional journey as a Student Business Analyst at the Region of Peel and worked as a Graduate Assistant at Ryerson University. Currently, Devan pursues an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University.
