Jack Virgin

Jack Virgin is a Senior Associate in Sustainable Investing at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) since November 2021, previously holding positions as a Climate Change Specialist and Co-op Student in Derivatives and Insurance Linked Securities. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Affiliate at Environment and Climate Change Canada with a focus on the Canadian Centre for Climate Modelling and Analysis from March 2022 to December 2022. Jack Virgin also worked as an Instructor and Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from April 2019 to September 2021. Jack Virgin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of Waterloo (2018-2023), a Master of Environmental Science (M.ES.) in Climatology from the University of Toronto (2017-2018), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Science from Queen's University (2013-2017).
