Jay Yang

Jay Yang is an experienced design professional currently serving as the Design Lead for Digital (UI/UX) at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) since May 2016, focusing on creating intuitive digital experiences through data-driven strategies. Prior to this role, Jay Yang worked as a Graphic Designer at HOOPP, developing marketing and communication materials while adhering to corporate design standards. Previous experience includes serving as a Production Artist at Hogarth Worldwide, where management of the approval process and execution of production artwork for TELUS was key, and as a Graphic Designer at IMAX Corporation, responsible for maintaining corporate branding and managing comprehensive design projects. Early career experience included a role as Project Leader/Production Artist at Pronk & Associates, supervising production teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Jay Yang holds a UX Design Certificate from George Brown College and a Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design from OCAD University, further complemented by education at Ryerson University.
