Karry C.

Karry C. is an experienced taxation professional currently serving as the Director of Taxation at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) since May 2022. Prior to this role, Karry held various positions at PwC from 2015 to May 2022, including Integrated Global Structuring Digital Accelerator Lead and Senior Manager for International Tax and M&A, where responsibilities included overseeing teams in developing digital products and managing M&A transactions of significant values. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Tax Analyst at Deloitte Canada, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions, and a brief stint as a Customer Service Representative at BMO. Karry holds multiple Nanodegrees from Udacity in Artificial Intelligence, Data and Analytics, and Business Analytics, along with a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Honours in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from The University of Hong Kong.
