Kathy Shen

Kathy Shen has worked at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) since 2011. Their roles at the company include serving as a Team Lead in Development Operations from 2011 to 2014, and then as a DevOps Lead from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Solutions Architect and Product Owner until 2022, when they became the Director of Technical Operations.

Kathy Shen holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Kathy also obtained a Certificate in Enterprise Architecture from the same university. In addition to their academic achievements, Kathy holds several certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Kathy is an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, an AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Their most recent certification was the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, which they obtained in July 2021.
