Simon Liu

Simon Liu, CFA has extensive work experience in the investment and risk management field. Simon began their career as a Finance intern at HOOPP in 2008 before moving on to work as an Analyst in Derivatives at TD Waterhouse in 2006. From there, they joined BMO Capital Markets as an Analyst in Derivatives in 2007. Simon returned to HOOPP in 2010 and held various roles in Risk and Compliance, including Associate, Senior Associate, and Senior Analyst. In 2018, they became the Manager of Valuations, Risk, and Compliance before transitioning to the role of Manager of Risk Analytics in 2021. Simon's most recent position at HOOPP is Senior Manager of Investment Risk for Private & Capital Markets, which they held from 2021 to 2023. Simon is currently serving as Associate Director of Investment Risk for Private & Capital Markets at HOOPP.
