Social just got real. Hoot is the first real-world social platform built on verified presence, not followers.

We’re redefining how people connect in public spaces — by showing what’s happening around them right now, from people who are actually there. Instead of scrolling through content from strangers in faraway places, Hoot users discover real-time stories, updates, and energy from their immediate surroundings.

At the heart of Hoot are Canopies — geofenced, real-time social zones where users can post, connect, and explore content based on location. Users engage anonymously through customizable Owlvatar identities and earn trust with Feathers — a behavior-driven reputation system powered by verified presence.

Hoot’s core features include:
Echoes: Story-style, time-sensitive posts only visible within a Canopy
Birds Eye View: A read-only global view of Canopies — users can look in, but only participate when physically present
HootDeals: Time-sensitive, location-based offers that can only be seen and claimed by users nearby
Pop-Up Canopies: Temporary geofenced spaces for meetups, events, local businesses, or gig workers

We’re building privacy-first technology that allows for real-time interaction without identity tracking. Behind the scenes, Hoot leverages cryptographic presence verification, AI-driven content summarization, and scalable geospatial architecture to enable a new class of interaction: presence-based digital connection.

We believe the future of social isn’t more noise — it’s more now.

Hoot is where it starts.
