Hope Dusek Architects is a design-led architectural practice specialising in new build, retrofit, heritage, building safety and Higher-Risk Buildings.

We work with homeowners, developers, commercial clients and project teams to unlock the potential of complex buildings and sites through clear architectural strategy, careful design and strong technical delivery.

Led by Alfie Hope and Jack Dusek, the practice combines design-led architectural thinking with detailed technical, regulatory and delivery experience across complex residential, heritage and Higher-Risk Building projects.

Alongside our architectural work, we act as Higher-Risk Building specialists and building safety consultants, supporting clients with complex regulatory matters, Building Safety Regulator submissions, Principal Designer duties, technical reviews and compliance strategy.

Our work includes new homes, extensions, whole-home transformations, listed building refurbishments, sensitive reuse projects, residential developments and complex regulatory appointments. We are particularly experienced in projects where design quality, planning strategy, technical coordination and building safety need to be considered together from the outset.

From early feasibility studies and planning applications through to technical design, tendering and project delivery, we help clients make informed decisions, reduce risk and move projects forward with clarity.

Our approach is practical, design-led and commercially aware, combining architectural ambition with a detailed understanding of planning, Building Regulations, Principal Designer duties and the evolving Building Safety landscape.
