Matt Eggerding

Matt Eggerding currently serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at both Hope Gas and Hope Utilities, a role held since July 2025. Prior experience includes multiple positions at EQT Corporation from January 2015 to September 2024, where Matt held the titles of Deputy General Counsel for Environmental & Regulatory Affairs, Senior Counsel, and Counsel. Additionally, Matt was Deputy General Counsel at Equitrans Midstream Corporation from November 2018 to July 2024, leading legal strategies for significant energy infrastructure projects like the Mountain Valley Pipeline. Matt Eggerding holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.
