Susan Farabee

Susan Farabee is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a background in forensic mental health and early childhood mental health. Currently serving at the HOPE Program since March 2022, Susan provides treatment to sex offenders both individually and in group settings, alongside offering clinical supervision to associate mental health providers. Prior experience includes working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Ocean Psychiatry, where services were adapted for both in-person and virtual formats during the pandemic, and a role as a Psychiatric Social Worker at San Mateo County Mental Health, focusing on early childhood mental health with infants and young children. Susan holds a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Infant Mental Health from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Social Welfare with a focus on Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University.
