In 2013, Sanctuary CDC became Hope United CDC and assumed a new community-based governance model.  While retaining some of the original core programming, we made adjustments to reflect a broader community base and nimbly established new programs in response to the community’s needs.

These responses have included adopting Franklin Middle School Minneapolis, inspiration for the formation of NorthPlus (a collaborative initiative to increase African American financial capabilities), and leadership in the Christian community’s response to diminishing racial animus.
HUCDC remains committed to our faith-based values as we pursue upward mobility for individuals and families in the areas of education, engagement, and economics.
