David Loo

David Loo, CPA, CA, is the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Hopewell Development, where they oversee finance and accounting operations, including treasury and investment strategies. David has played a key role in securing over $1.85 billion in financing for various projects across the U.S. and Canada since joining the company in 2011. Prior to their current role, David worked in the Accounting Policy Group at Suncor Energy Inc. and in the Assurance and Business Advisory Group at Ernst & Young LLP. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, School of Business, and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta.
