Barry Mitchell is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in community engagement and juvenile justice. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Hope Works Inc. since 2019, Barry previously held the role of Administrator and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Hope Works from 2011 to 2017. Barry's prior experience includes serving as the Administrator of the Children's Bureau at Memphis and Shelby County Juvenile Court from 2000 to 2016, managing a team responsible for approximately 20,000 juvenile cases annually. Additionally, Barry spent over 16 years as a Federal Probation Officer with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, where key roles included training coordination and electronic monitoring. Barry is an alumnus of the University of Memphis.
