Brian Carroll is currently the VP Corporate Development & General Counsel at Hopper. Prior to this, they served as the COO / CLO at LevelUp from January 2014 to November 2018.
At LevelUp, Brian was responsible for the mobile marketing strategies and custom mobile applications for some of the hottest and fastest growing restaurant chains in the United States and beyond. Their team delivered custom in-app ordering experiences, and rewards programs redeemable in-app or in connection with counter-based mobile payments.
As Chief Legal Officer for LevelUp, Brian had ultimate responsibility for all merchant partner and partnership agreements; compliance with federal and state laws governing payments, data security, and privacy; intellectual property prosecution, licensing, and enforcement, and corporate governance and financing. Brian also worked closely with a number of our partners and potential partners on strategic development initiatives.
Brian Carroll has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Finance from Boston College and a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. Brian also attended the United States Air Force Academy.
